A Trip to Hakone Hotsprings with my Ma
My Mom was here in Japan for a few days after her trip to Hong Kong and Jakarta. I took a few days off to accompany her to many places. One of which was Hakone. It was our first ever daughter-mother over-night trip! We stayed one night at the Green Plaza Hotel. The view (from both our hotel room and the outdoor hotspring) were excellent - we could see Mt.Fuji!
The hotspring was of course great and my Mom couldn't stop talking about it to my Dad when she got back. I thought of taking my Dad to one when he visited last year but I couldn't go to the men's side to guide him through the "procedure" so...^^;

Sigh..I miss having my Mom around now. Every night we chatted til late at night, made late night snacks, and did facials together! It was so much fun! Yeah, it was like we had sleepover parties every night! =D

A Dire Predicament
My first age spot. I noticed it this morning. It's right below my left eye. =..(
It's not that big, about a size of a black pepper (ungrinded) and it's only in a pale shade of grey and I could cover it with make up, but still (>_<)!!!!!

I'm going to change my line of skin care products. Clinique Active White, Dior Snow, SKII, or Shiseido Whitess. Hmm...decisions decisions.

Durn =)
Being durn teaches me how to be humble.
Being durn means I'm not afraid to learn when I make mistakes.
Being durn means I'm secure and confident enough to handle such a silly yet cute nickname.
Being durn makes good times with my friends! =D

But girls, please don't call me that on my wedding day =)

"Run"
I just realized that the Chinese word for "Run" has 7 strokes and not 6. (^^; sweat)
Now that just proves being a polyglot doesn't mean I'm good at all the languages that I know. =P
Returner's Conference 2005 in Yokohama
Just came back from this conference set up for people finishing JET and going back to their home countries. Along with a few of my colleagues we went to Yokohama Pacifico where the conference was held for 3 days. Sadly, all I remember was falling asleep in most of the seminars. (-.-)zzz But I did like the presentation given by the Canadian Embassy though. Quick question to Leona - did you apply for pension refund and have you gotten the money back yet?
