Today was one of those days at work...
Unexpected cheques (yippee!), unexpected documents (opened 5 accounts today), unexpected order ("please buy 2 shares of BRKA*, my secretary will have the cheque couriered" *0*!!!) unexpected calls ("I saw your ad, I'm wondering if you can help me with credit cards?" - hmm...no, you go to the bank for that, here's our colleague's number), unexpected delivery (new ads on local magazines! that was fast!), unexpected email (the contract got bounced by Canada Post?!?) and an unexpected audience (my manager stood behind me and listened to me speak Japanese on the phone with my client)
True story - an ex-colleague took a stress leave and left the company shortly after.
*BRKA - Class A Berkshire Hathaway is worth about $100,000.00 USD per share.
